Secure Cloud Storage
While doing online research to find a suitable cloud storage provider to host (backup) and sync all my files and folders between multiple devices, I stumbled across Copy.com who started their services at the beginning of this year. Currently they offer 15GB free cloud storage that is only matched by Google Drive. Apart from Google, services and providers like SkyDrive, Dropbox, Box and a seemingly endless number of smaller ones that I do not care to list here are vying for the attention of millions of potential customers who want to store gigabytes of private as well as professional data securely, transparently and quickly while not paying a fortune for continuously growing storage demands. Copy is a service by security, networking and storage specialist Barracuda Networks and while that may be reason enough to trust them with your valuable data, it may not be the only factor let alone most significant argument to sign up with them immediately. I am using Copy for over a week now and I am very satisfied with their reliable services, user friendly web interface (browser) and native client for Windows OS's which uses an acceptable amount of memory (less than 100MB) and a neglectable amount of CPU resources. Upload speed is steadily between 300-400kB/s while download speed seems only be limited by restrictions of your physical internet connection (5MB/s as of now). Copy has no file size limits, no bandwidth limits (amount of data you can sync between devices) and no other hidden restrictions of any kind and works with all major platforms (mobile: iOS, Android, desktop: Windows, Mac OS, Linux). Files and folders are encrypted during transfer (https) and stored on Barracuda's servers using AES 256 encryption. You can share single files and entire folders between multiple or single users and computers and are able to add locations (references) on your hard disk outside of the client's share to be synchronized automatically. The most alluring argument to choose Copy is their referral program that allows you to easily rack up storage space for free in significant steps of 5GB per referral. Simply sign in using this link and you will be granted with an initial 20GB of cloud storage after downloading the client and logging in with your credentials for the first time. Afterwards you will be granted with your own referrer which allows you to invite users who will add to your account with 5GB's each.
Battle Reign Project
Everyone who might ask themselves what I did for the past year may want to head over to battlereign.com and take a look at my newest strategy multiplayer game for iOS. Battle Reign features a massively multiplayer online experience in a military setting and utilizes familiar board game rules, photo-realistic graphics, worldwide leaderboards with different categories and unique player achievements. Follow the link to download the game from Apple's App Store or click the banner below to be redirected to the Battle Reign homepage. Feedback of any kind is greatly appreciated.

New Unannounced Project
Here are the first preview renderings of some of my latest meshes, fully textured, for an - as of now - unannounced project. Obviously no Trek this time, also no movie, but something completely different and hopefully equally enjoyable for at least some of my readers. More details as well as the project itself will be revealed later this year.
Four different meshes after the break. Enjoy!

Star Trek Wallpapers
Accompanying my latest cgi animation "Romulan Ale, Captain!", here are some wallpapers for everyone to use.
The first batch (1280x720) are scenes from the animation itself, I did however change some minor details like background, ship positioning or point of view. Also some additional effects are used to make it look less boring ;). The second batch (1280x1024) are promotional wallpapers plus the Valdore/Norexan schematics I haven't had the time to complete until now. Enjoy!
